Georgia provides access to quality education through a Tax Credit Program should not be dependent on a family’s zip code.

Georgia Private School Tax Credit

The Georgia Private School Tax Credit law allows eligible private citizens and corporations to receive tax credits for donations to Student Scholarship Organizations (SSOs).  SSOs will provide student scholarships to parents of eligible children who plan to attend private schools.

OUR Donors

Our donors are companies and individuals who care about their community and desire the opportunity to partner with ULN Scholarship Foundation, low-income families and families with disabled students in an effort to create hopeful futures for all of our children.

The Georgia Private School Tax Credit Law (O.C.G.A. § 20-2A-1 through § 20-2A-7) allows student scholarship organizations (SSOs) to provide scholarships for eligible students to attend accredited private schools.  House Bill 283 (2013) waived the enrollment and six-week public school attendance eligibility requirements if students would be assigned to a “low-performing school” if they attended a public school.  The bill also requires the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement (GOSA) to determine a list of “low-performing schools” for this specific purpose.

Private Schools

ULN Scholarship Foundation works with private schools in Georgia to make Academic Achievement Accessible. We can not do that without excellent schools for families to choose from.
Georgia has guidelines that determine the accountability guidelines of the ULN Scholarship Foundation. Please click on the links below to view details on Georgia Eligibility.
